I am very exited to share this magical christmas winter wedding with you all.
This was an extra special wedding as the beautiful bride Karen is my soon to be sister in law.
(I will be marrying Karen’s brother Niall next year)
The morning was crisp & fresh with a hint of frost but also some lovely sunshine, it really was the perfect winters day.
The morning of the wedding was very calm & relaxed with everything running to schedule. I was thrilled to do the make up for Karen and her lovely bridal party, and even more honoured to also be one of her bridesmaids for this very special day.
Fantastic hair stylist Michelle O Halloran created our beautiful up styles.
There was lots of giggles throughout the beautifying!
The theme running throughout this wedding was a magical winter wonderland with a colour scheme of navy & gold. It was perfect for the festive season & added a touch of sparkle to the day.
The Bridesmaids wore stunning navy Jenny Packham dresses with pretty beaded detail on one shoulder. Gold shoes & accessories completed the look.
For the bridesmaid make up, I used soft rose gold tones mixed with browns on the eyes along with some false individual lashes to make the eyes pop out. I used pretty soft pink blush and one of my favourite lipsticks from M.A.C “craving”to complete the look.
For Karen’s make up, I really focused on her huge beautiful eyes, she has the biggest green eyes and naturally very long eyelashes so she is always a dream to make up. I used soft shades of ivory mixed with gold tones and some light & dark shades of brown to create this eye make up look on Karen. I love how her eye colour really pops out.
I used a A pretty shade of choral blush for her cheeks and on her lips Karen wore a stunning Chanel lipstick, a thoughtful treat from her bridesmaids.
The above photo really sums up our day, lots of fun, giggles & happy smiles
I absolutely adore pre wedding car shots, especially this one. It really shows the anticipation & excitement of the bride for the day ahead, the last few moments as a Miss.
A special mention to the stunning mother of the bride Helen (my soon to be mother in law), who is still getting compliments on her hair & make up months after the wedding. She looked amazing on the day.
Videographer on the day was the lovely Michelle Ryan who I have worked with on many weddings and always love her work. Check out the wedding video clip below:

The bridal party
A magical winter wonderland is the only way I could describe this amazing wedding with so many creative and special touches which made every element unique & extra special.
Kilashee House Hotel Naas provided the perfect setting for this special winter wedding, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate both the happy couple & the guests.
I cannot speak highly enough about photographer on the day Nicola Webster. She really put us all at ease and captured the day perfectly.
I hope you enjoyed reading this beautiful real wedding story as much as I enjoyed reminiscing about this wonderful day.
Ps. Bridal party spray tans & Shellac nails were also done by me. Full beauty packages available in studio.
