Real Bride Story- Laura

I am exited to finally share this fabulous wedding with you all.

“A perfect moment captured forever.”

Earlier this year at the end of March, I was delighted to be the make up artist for bride Laura on her Wedding day.

Laura very kindly sent me some of her photographer images which I will be sharing with you in this post.

Her photographer was Dk photo, I have worked with Daniel on previous weddings and I love his style. All images used are Daniels work.

Straight away I just loved the above image (excuse the bad hair day).

To me it sums up the whole essence of the wedding morning, we laughed, we cried and we had a lot of fun that morning.

They say:

“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life”

This certainly feels true for me as I always feel so exited going to the brides house on the morning of her wedding. I always feel like part of the family. Looking back at these images makes me feel so blessed to share these special moments with my brides.

A calm few moments for the bride to relax and take it all in during make up application.

Laura chose to go for a pretty bridal make up look, I loved creating this look.

Her dress was very classic with beautiful lace detailing, The look complemented the styling of the overall bridal look with dramatic smoky eyes, soft pink blush & the perfect shade of rose pink on the lips.

This photo is priceless, another important tip is to always ensure you eat before the ceremony! This was taken As the finishing hair & make up touches were applied.

As you can see in the photo Hair stylist on the day was Aidan O Dwyer from Kapelli.

The beautiful bride.

Another favourite image of mine from the day is the below photo. This moment was captured after Laura had seen her final make up & hair look and you can see the sheer excitement as she looks forward to the next stage… putting on her beautiful wedding dress.

Laura had two stunning bridesmaids. I loved the deep shade of purple that she chose for their dresses.

As you know I absolutely love car shots like this one. So much excitement and anticipation of the day ahead.

The happy couple

I had so much fun throughout the morning, and i was even more delighted when Laura dropped in to show me her wedding album after the big day. It was lovely to see my work printed in such a precious way.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post.
