Real Bride Story- Sandra

I am delighted to share with you the pretty wedding of stunning bride Sandra, I was thrilled to spend the morning of New Years’s Eve 2015 with Sandra & her bridal party, as we prepared and shared the excitement with them for the fun & magical day that lay ahead.

Firstly a big thank you to Sandra for kindly sending me these images all of which were taken by photographer Nick O Keeffe .

There is always something extra special about a New Year’s eve wedding, the excitement & thrill of ending the year surrounded by all your family & friends as you say I do and then beginning a fresh new Year as Newly weds at your own wedding reception, A perfect start to a brand new year!  Throughout Sandra’s wedding morning there was lots of chat about our New Years’ resolutions, goals, dreams, hopes and lots of excitement & laughter could be heard coming from the Penthouse Suite in the stunning Step House Hotel Borris, as we all looked forward to the New Year 2016 about to begin.

From the first time I met Sandra for her bridal make up trial, I instantly felt excited about her wedding morning. Sandra was so calm & relaxed on her wedding day and she really enjoyed every minute of her preparations and savoured every minute of the pampering.

For Sandra’s bridal make up look, we decided on a pretty, feminine & glamorous look to compliment her stunning dress and her over all look for her big day. I used soft rose golds, combined with browns on her eyes and a pretty pink blush & highlight to bring out her cheekbones, with a subtle soft pink on her lips. I love these colour combinations on Blondes. Her golden glow was perfect and she looked every inch the beautiful bride.

I absolutely loved this Fabulous bridal up style by award winning and fantastic hair stylist Leanne Nolan of Vow2wow. It is always a pleasure to work along side Leanne on Wedding mornings.

Lets talk about The dress, it was just bridal perfection, it fitted Sandra like a glove and had a beautiful low back detail, with a delicate soft lace and delicate beading with a pretty cap sleeve, I loved it and she really took everyones breath away when she was ready. Sandra’s dress was from B Couture Bridal Wear.

I think you will all agree that these photos are stunning, captured perfectly by Photographer Nick O Keeffe who managed to have us all in the stitches laughing from the moment he arrived.

The two stunning bridesmaids wore gorgeous navy dresses, I loved creating this soft grey/navy smoky eye on both ladies, with a pop of soft pink blush and lipstick which complimented them both, they were just beautiful.

The bridal bouquets were by extremely creative & talented florist Lamber De Bie based in Kilkenny and perfect for a winter wedding, I loved the subtle additions of the red berries with the roses, perfect for a winter wedding.

Look at those stunning shoes!

Sandra never stopped smiling all morning (and for the rest of the day, if the pictures are anything to go by). I love this action shot below, featuring Sandra & her helpful bridesmaids & stunning Mother of the Bride doing the last minute preparations.

I have to give a mention to the lovely groom, who put a lovely comment on my Facebook page after the wedding, complimenting me on Sandra’s Make up, the ultimate seal of approval!

A happy bride = an even happier groom!

Such a fabulous couple!

It was also lovely to meet videogrpaher Brendan Of Barrow Vision again at this wedding, Brendan always does a fantastic job and captures the day perfectly.

I hope you enjoyed reading all about this beautiful bridal party, it is always such an honour to be a part of any brides wedding morning, I look forward to sharing more stories like this in the future and hopefully giving future bride to be’s an insight into the magic that is your wedding morning.
