I recently worked as the make up artist for a quirky vintage tea inspired Spring/ Summer ’15 photo shoot, I was lucky to be working along side a fantastic team for this fun photo shoot.
This fun photo shoot was set in the pretty surroundings of Mocha’s Vintage Tea Rooms Kilkenny.
This fab venue is one of my favourite places in Kilkenny for a girly catch up, with a delicious lunch menu, and an even nicer yummy selection of desserts & sweet treats to have with some good quality coffee or tea.
We were treated to some lovely Coffee’s and treats during the photo shoot.
I love the pretty vintage china tea cups and cutlery that the tea rooms use to serve customers.
We had four stunning models to work with on this photo shoot.
First up is timeless beauty Sarah Cass, I have had the pleasure of doing Sarah’s make up on a number of occasions and it is always a face I look forward to making up. Sarah has beautiful big blue eyes, that really shine through in photos!
For Sarah’s main make up look, I took some inspiration from old Hollywood style icons and created a classic look with a soft smoky eye featuring black gel liner, a subtle flick and lashings of lashes. Topped of with a statement deep red lip.
Our next model is pretty Callan native Paula Norris.
Another face I love to work on, Paula is very photogenic, She has a lovely warm smile that really lights up the camera, I love how her photos came out from the photo shoot.
For Paula’s main make up look I took inspiration from the season and created a pretty summery make up look which complimented her blonde hair and blue eyes perfectly.
I used rose gold, nudes & soft pinks to create Paula’s feminine & pretty look.
Another familiar face modelling was Lynn Moloney presenter for Irish Tv. It is always a pleasure to do Lynn’s make up. I used a mix of greys and browns to give Lynn a dramatic smoky eye, I also added a soft Pinkie/lilac mix lipstick to add a fun twist to this summery look.
Just look at those amazing cheekbones!!
I adore how the make up looks in this black & white photo of Lynn such a classic.
Our fourth beautiful model was another pretty face that I love making up, stunning Hair stylist from The Edge Hair studio Jade Scanlon.
For Jades main make up look I went for a dramatic rock chic inspired look but with a feminine touch.
I created A deep smoky eye with black liner, loads of long lashes, contoured cheeks and finished it off with an edgy purple lipstick. I really loved this look on Jade.
We all love a good selfie!!
Im sure at this stage you have all noticed the amazing hair styles on the models in each photo. Hair stylists Caroline, Nicola, Sarah & Claire from The Edge Hair Studio in Callan, worked their magic on the models hair for this photo shoot.
